Weight of the World je o citovém břemenu, které musíme nést v rozpadlých (romantických) vztazích. Je o odloučení, ztrátě a snaze o uzavření vztahu. Píseň však lze chápat také jako motivační píseň, která nám umožňuje hledět do budoucnosti s nadějí. Proto je tato píseň vhodně prezentována v irském folk punkovém hávu. Rovnováha mezi bolestí, přijetím, smířením se sebou samým a nadějným pohledem do budoucnosti tuto píseň charakterizuje.
